What is Go Frankfort?
Go Frankfort, Inc. started as a group of friends with a desire to make a difference in Franklin County, Kentucky. As our passion for helping our community grew, so did Go Frankfort. Our first priority is to help take care of our community and the people within it. Our second goal is to encourage others to do the same. Volunteerism demonstrates to the world our real and committed belief that today is the day we have a chance to do something good for our community and ourselves.
As Go Frankfort, citizens of this great community come together as one to take action to help local charities and provide labor for community projects in Frankfort. Go Frankfort organizes two volunteer days each year in to assist with projects that help local agencies continue to do what they do best... take care of our neighbors. We hope that Go Frankfort Volunteer Days will encourage our volunteers will continue to serve agencies throughout the year. Other projects are initiated and completed throughout the year as the necessity arises.
In our first two events over 300 individuals have come together from throughout Frankfort to help others. Side by side we have worked on over 30 different projects with volunteers, young and old. Everyone has the ability help make make a difference! Let us help show you how! Go with us! Go Frankfort!
